Hi! My name is Liat, and I started Collab Speech Therapy because I have always been passionate about speech and language development during the early childhood years AND working as a team to help little ones develop! As a speech therapist with over 15+ years of experience, I have been fortunate to work in 4 states in a variety of settings (Early Intervention, Integrated Preschool Programs, Elementary Schools, and private clinics). I believe the sooner we can provide intervention to a child…the better!

I graduated with my B.S. in Speech Language Pathology from Ithaca College and an M.S. in Speech Language Pathology from the University of Rhode Island. I have my ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence and my Massachusetts State License for Speech-Language Pathology.

Collaborating with my student’s caregivers and educators is at the heart of what I do. When we are able to work as a team, we can reduce feelings of frustration, foster greater connection, and improve overall communication skills!

Outside of work you can find me spending time with my husband and daughter, traveling, swimming, or cooking (just not spicy food, I can’t handle that).
