Helpful Information
Billing & Insurance
All services are private pay (Credit Card, Health Savings Accounts). We are considered an “Out of Network” provider.
Some insurance companies can provide reimbursement for therapy services through paperwork called a "super bill." We provide this paperwork for families to submit to their insurance company.
Collab Speech Therapy is compliant with the No Surprises Act to ensure you have access to your rights and protections against surprise medical bills.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you accept insurance?
Collab Speech Therapy does not accept insurance and is considered "out of network" or private pay. Some families submit paperwork for reimbursement for out-of-network services and are sometimes able to receive reimbursement for some or all of their therapy costs.
If my child didn't qualify for Early Intervention or School-based speech therapy, can you still provide therapy services?
Yes! One of the benefits of private speech therapy services is that we can work without the limitations or strict eligibility requirements that Early Intervention or Public Schools have to operate under.
Where does therapy take place?
We come to you! Therapy takes place in your home, or your child’s daycare or preschool! We provide pediatric speech therapy services to the Needham/Newton area and surrounding towns.
Do I need a doctor’s referral or diagnosis before reaching out?
No. Speech-language pathologists can see clients without a doctor’s prescription.
I have concerns about my child’s speech and language development, but I’m not sure where to start.
Call or email us to set up a free 15 minute call to discuss your concerns and next steps!
Why is this practice called Collab Speech Therapy?
Collaborative teamwork is at the heart of what we do. Therapy happens with a Speech Language Pathologist but INTERVENTION can happen all the time! When caregivers are involved with the therapy process, children make faster progress with their goals. Collaboration is the key!
